School Improvement

The purpose of the school improvement planning process is to improve student achievement. Improvement planning is a continuous and intentional process by which schools and districts

  • determine their priority needs,
  • set goals and objectives for improvement,
  • choose strategies to meet the objectives, and
  • lay out a series of steps to implement the selected strategies.
By monitoring and evaluating the implementation and the impacts of the plan, results are used to initiate the next cycle of planning.
