EFE and Habitat for Humanity build and dedicate new home
Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity (KVHH) dedicated a home to a very lucky homeowner on Sunday, December 14. The house was built by Education for Employment (EFE) students during the 2013-14 school year as part of the EFE Construction Trades program. The house, located at 1819 Elder Street in Kalamazoo, was completely renovated inside and out and a new addition was added. Guests at the dedication were able to tour the house, see before and after picture, and meet the new homeowner, Kaliece Fisher and her young son Trace. Kaliece represents the 195th family to purchase a new home through KVHH. EFE was proud to be a part of this special celebration.
