Kalamazoo RESA Staff
Targeted Assistance Grant (TAG) for Non-Certified Staff
Due date: February 28, 2025- Open to non-certified Kalamazoo RESA employees who are interested in becoming highly effective teachers in the areas of special education or early childhood
- Grant may be renewed for multiple years

Scholarships for Employees’ Children
Due date: February 28, 2025- Open to dependent children of current Kalamazoo RESA employees who are graduating high school seniors and plan to pursue certification or higher education. Priority given to those who demonstrate financial need.
- While historically this scholarship has been made available for all eligible graduating high school senior children of KRESA employees, there now are a limited number of scholarships for employees’ children, due to a lack of sustainable funding. These are one-time, nonrenewable awards. All previous commitments will be honored.

- Must be nominated in writing by a WoodsEdge employee

Career Pathway Planning Program Participants
Due date: February 28, 2025
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA or
- Completed GED with a minimum cumulative score of 600 or
- Received a recommendation (in writing) from a Career Connect staff member
